"Cheers" Hendy
2023
"When I first started writing ‘Cheers’, I knew right away that it was going to be different than everything else on the EP. The idea for the chorus had been written for months but I struggled with understanding how it was going to jump out of the speakers at the listener. That was until the homie BettyJi hit me up one day looking for a songwriting session and asked if I had anything to work on. within minutes it became clear that the missing puzzle piece had arrived and ✨voilà✨, we had ourselves a hit. nearly a year later, we’re here! cheers! 🥂" -Hendy
