Songs & Stories is a paid singer-songwriter showcase that allocates 40-minute sets for up-and-coming artists and writers. ​

In observing and participating in showcases that featured short set times and rising ticket quotas, there was room to build something in our community. Something that could include opportunity for two, at times synonymous things: time and compensation.
​​
Longer set times allow the creatives to gain performance endurance and experience. It also allows more identity and connection to be shared with the audience. ​
​
We'd also like to fairly compensate creatives for their time and skill. In our showcase, creatives receive a base payout plus a commission from their ticket sales. In challenging economic times, we pride ourselves in putting at least something in everyone's pocket.

Songs and Stories: Writers Circle
Come hang out at Hollywood's Barnsdall Art Park for a creative hang! This event will feature an opportunity to show and tell one of your compositions and participate in a creative writing exercise. Afterwards all are welcome to hang out in the sunshine, play games, eat snacks, and vibe out!
